The Rush is now available in France: as ‘Le Déluge’, thanks to HarperCollins France.
Published on 7 June 2023, I couldn’t be more thrilled that French readers will have access to this story of Quinn, Andrea, Hayley and Livia.
A box of copies of Le Déluge arrived on my doorstep in South Australia on the same day as its French publication! Very happy timing. It was a delight to scan my pages in a different language.
Of course, we all have easy access to Google Translate today. However, it’s also a joy (and fun) to try to decipher some of the words myself. The French version also contains helpful footnotes for items such as the Dog Fence and Stobie poles (which are actually a South Australian phenomenon, so the note would be useful for Australian readers too!)
