Writing can be lonely. Luckily, these days there are many relatively easy ways to connect with your writing community. And one of those methods is: listening to writing podcasts.
Since it launched in 2018, I’ve been a keen follower of The First Time Podcast. The hosts, Kate Mildenhall and Katherine Collette, have shared their publishing journey with lots of frank insights and advice just perfect for the Australian writing community. I’ve long appreciated their candour and their humour – and appreciated each author who’s appeared as a guest. The podcast has taught me so much about the craft of writing, as well as the qualities needed to persevere.
So you can imagine how excited I was to be a guest on the show!
