People are more attached to their old-school printed books then I’d realised…
But it seems I’m not going to get away with things that easily.
A lot of people in my network have said they’d prefer a printed version. They want to hold Goodbye Newsroom in their hot (or cool) little (or big) hands.
So I’m digging in to make this happen. Which is a lot more complicated than you might think! There’s not only resetting the look and feel of the book, choosing the paper type, the binding, and the size of the book – there’s also a whole heap of registering and indexing and cataloguing work to do.
While I’m trawling through that big pile of work, please make sure you’re subscribed to my e-newsletter, so that when Goodbye Newsroom is in print, you can be among the first to know. You’ll be able to order and pay for it online, then it will wind its way to your letterbox, wherever you are in the world.
I have to admit, I’m excited to think about holding the paperback in my hands…
